I am looking around for a new to me boat and was only looking at used Tritons, Rangers and Skeeters but I have ran into a few Phoenix boats that interest me.
What is the main differences between a 721 and a 921? I'm looking at ones in the 2012 year model range.
Is there anything I need to be looking for specifically when it comes to Phoenix boats? They are new to me so any help would be appreciated.
Thanks!

The main difference between those 2 is the Front Deck,, The 921 and 920 both have a Wider front deck then the 721... I love mine and Gary Clouse has made and Built a Great company.. Very Nice guys and Super Great Customer Service. PM me if you have any other questions.

921 is 7 inches longer and about 3 inches wider across the front deck. 721 is a little faster but less than 5 mph difference.

Thanks for the info. In regards to fishability and quality of ride, what does the 721 compare to? Is the 920 and 921 far superior?

I'm sure Darold Gleason will be chipping in here soon. He has had both the 721 and 921. I have one of his previous 721's and can tell you it can handle Conroe on a bad day which says a lot. It's by far the best riding boat I've ever been in. I'm sure the 900s are a little better but you're going to pay the little extra to get that. I'm not sure it's worth it if you're just doing it for the ride. I think if you want that extra deck space and are willing to pay for it then it's probably worth it.

All 3 fish Great,,, I think the. 920 is the Best Overall package ,, Rides great ,, Plenty of Front deck and Handles like a Race Car.. All three have pretty much the Same in Add on Options , but the 900's come Standard with a Few things the 721 would have to be add on's.

I have a 2014 721 I purchased last July and it is by far the best riding bass boat I've been in. I upgraded the trolling motor and electronics when I ordered it vs. the standard equipment. Storage is fantastic and it fishes great. It also handles super, have a 250 PROXS. The only real difference in it and the 900's are the deck measurements. The 900's are going to have 4-5 inches more width on the front fishing platform. I suspect you would enjoy either a 700 or 900 as they are great boats. By the way I purchased mine at Shipps Marine in Gladewater and they were super.

If you have a chance get into both models and decide which you like best that's in your price range. Regardless you can't go wrong with either choice! Give Brent Abernathy a call at Shipp's Marine in Gladewater TX, they are incredible! Tell him Andrew McClusky sent you. Good luck on your search!

A Pro friend of mine, Jeff Cloud, still has his 2013 Phoenix for sale, tournament rigged with the lithium battery system. PM me if interested and I will give you his #.
