This is my 10 yr old son Hunners PB for catfish. Thoughts raced thru my mind for certifying this fish for him but I explaind the process and give him the option and she swims again. Thank you Lord for the opportunity to share the great day that I had with a close friend and my son. Oh ya, my digitals stop at 50lbs guessing she might push 60 IDK

Also I want to thank Salsa for his tip and all the folks that are releasing these fish to fight again someday. I am sure my son will wear that smile for weeks.

Since when did catfish become so fragile? Geez you guys act like were dealing with a BASS! Catfish are a very hardy fish, especially when its cool outside! Glad she's swimming again but you should of been able to have that fish weighed no problems....
I'm gonna miss her....

I got my 110lb scales on Amazon, but I paid $5 more for mine. They are great. I'm getting them certified Thursday so I can start setting some lake records.

WTG Hunner. That is an awesome fish. You got me beat by 20 lbs. WTG dad for getting him out. That smile he had on the front deck fighting that fish says it all.
