a couple a friends invited me to go on a lil bit east trip yesterday
I haven't been able to get out as much as I want lately
this is the third or 4th excursion I have missed for multiple reasons
when I started getting photos yesterday early I was happy and sad at the time
man did they ketch some whales yawl !!!
all deep on minnows...would not touch a jig
I know they wont post ,but I am sure its ok for me to tell a lil bit
they kept 24 big fish with the best 7 well over 14
I wont post the photos or give up much else ....
but KABOOM and congrats brothers

I got the ok to post a few photos ....
have to remove land marks and gps co ords of course ....
and was told a certain strange presentation with jigs was the ticket late ....
they actually did take jigs well later ...my bad
dint get the entire story till today

I was asked rather specifically not to leave any landmarks

and the ice chest at lunch time

so it seems the long version is different than the short version
lil fish early on both jigs and minnows
a few big specimens on minnows mixed in
later after 2 pm they liked jigs pitched out and slow rolled
and most of those were larger specimens
just bumping the bottom across rocks in 18 to 25 fow
the presentation was similar to person using a worm for bass
and they took the top tandem most of the time
I hope I get to go with them tomorrow
congrats again to my buds
they didn't keep any in the smaller range
cause they were runnin out a ice chest

and they was using Crazy Angler lil rascals btw

Yep, them bridge pylons do produce some very tasty fishes! Water clarity, leads me to believe they were on Lake XX, instead of Lake X.

At first I thought they were on Lake XXX but then remembered this was a family friendly forum.
