May God bless C.L.'s family and comfort them during their loss. What a great man and a very heart felt tribute to him! Men like C.L. were of the "GREATEST GENERATION"! If it were not for men like him where would have this country ended up during that time during the war. Thank you C.L. for your unselfish and dedicated service to our country. My heart goes out to you and your family for your lost. But rejoice that you will have CL with you on every fishing trip, in your heart and memories. I dropped a little urn of my uncle ashes on the third pillar of the Little Elm bridge last summer. Every time I fish it we talk a lil bit as I fish his pillar.

Great tribute and story. I wish I could be part of something so great and heart warming. My dad is battling cancer and I wish I could take him out fishing. He loves to fish, but has almost lost the ability to. I don't have a boat, so I can put him on good fish. How lucky you are to be able to do so.
Rain, sleet, ice, snow, heat, wind, and my wife can't keep me from FISHING!

Blessed are us who have special people in our lives to share our short time while here on earth. Better to have known them and lost them, to never have known them at all.
