The big crappie are in for now. The day time has been really good. The are getting nice stringers 5-10 some well over 1lbs. Minnows did better the other day jigs still king. Here is a 1.95lbs crappie got Wednesday morning off a minnow shallow. Come get some guys it's only getting better from here on out. I will try to get as many pics as I can last year the fish where mostly at night this year it day time bite right now so it's hard for me to get pics. Anyone who gets some fish please post them. Thanks.

Yes, They are in. Caught 15, or 16, 6 Keepers yesterday.

Today was better then yesterday. Guy left with 19 others with between 10-15. Stringer of 19.

I knew it before you post the picture. My friend was there, he caught 3 keepers, and he sent us a picture of that string of crappies. I am so jealous.

My son and I plan on coming out this evening. Sounds like most of the action is during the day but will give it a shot anyway. Should I get my minnows at the barge or someplace else? Jigs?

Went today 10am to 3pm I should have been there yesterday.
Some fish taken not big stringers but some nice big ones.
I start a new job Monday so my fishing at the barge during weekdays are over hope that the week nights pick up soon.
