Nice. My goal is to get my first limit of 2014. LOL! Got close last week and it's only a matter of time... +1...First catch a limit, then a limit in an hour, then a limit of hogs, then a limit of hogs in an hour...man's got to have goals...  Hmmm, actually in 2014 just getting to meet DW was my first goal.... Thanks to Clay, I may get to meet Guy, DW, Ken, Larry, Vernon, Josh, Tommy, Ronnie, and a host of other forum members...Plus, I get to reacquaint myself with Red, Okiebob, and a few more...Kind of like divine intervention for me... Never can tell, I may even catch a fish or two...but, I am not gonna hold my breath on this one...

The season is starting to kick in and I have already bought home a 2 pounder.
So I'm gonna kick it up a notch and set a New goal of 2.5lb for my 2014 best..
Yes I'm taking baby steps but I know there's one out there with my name on it.
Here Crappie Crappie.... Congrats Jiggin el...  Man, I just got to get one of those digital scales...Of course, I will need a simple to operate version!...

Congrats On the 2# beauty!!! Good luck on your goal also Goals are great and when you surpass one the feeling is awesome. My goal is way far-fetched, but I want the lake record for both black & white crappie here on Cypress. Guess I need to start weighing some of the biguns  I have a set of digitals, but still have never weighed a crappie and have caught quite a few heavy fish  Go get em!

In fact I was culling fish most of the time back then. I didn't catch a limit last year nor so far this year. I don't know if the fishing has slowed down or if it's just me that slowed down and can't feel the bite.

It's been years since I got a limit. I did join the 2 lb club a couple of years ago. Catching a limit will be my goal this year.

you will never forget exactly where you caught that fish .
COMING SOON! .. THE STICKLE HOOK " the stay level sickle hook". sits level in the water with all knots.! Provides better hook sets and more natural jigging motion. No more adjusting the knot, gluing , or tying loop knots that cause the hook point to tangle in the loop, or worse knick the line.. The jighook that will make all others obsolete !

no seriously,i have never caught a limit....hopefully i will get to do more fishing this year and scratch that off my bucket list.close to that 2# club,pb as of last year is a solid 1.85

Got to get a digital scale and join that club this year. I have never bother weighting my fish, just measuring them to ensure I was taking home the biggest five. And lately measuring them to ensure I was not taking anything home undersized, since the biggest five generally just made the legal limit.
