I've done some research on that area for white bass fishing.

Those of you guys who fish that area, do you fish the creek along the park or go further north or south? I'm gonna give it a shot in a couple of weeks and will post where I was and what happened.

I usually fish south. Bring your waders. The bank is pretty steep and does not make the fishing easy unless your in the water. I've been fishing most of the feeder creeks to LL the past two weeks. The small sandbass have started to trickle in, but the numbers are not great yet. Good
Luck

I go north off 380 in a bass buster boat and on the bank. If they are running then you will find them.
I think its not time to get after them yet but I have not gone yet. Hmm maybe I should. IF its good at the small dock at 380 then just go find a hole and fish for them north or south you will find a hole.

Thanks for the info. Definitely wear waders and I hope they are snake proof. I hate snakes.......

Where is the small dock off US 380? I know about a dock just below Roberts...but not off US 380. Is it in the Park there??

Thanks...I've seen the ramp there in the 380 park, but it's been a year or so. I seem to remember the ramp was pretty steep...guess I need to go out there and gather some intell? LOL. There isn't a lot of water coming of Roberts this year...so the river must be very low...

its low, but not much lower than it was this time last year and the bite was really good once things got going.
The ramp isn't that bad as I helped someone carry their canoe up it the other day. I didn't once think I was going to slip or lose my footing.

You really think it's that much lower? You're guess probably a better guess than mine but I thought it looked within about a foot of last years level.
