are there still a lot of wasps flying around? Never had a problem with them. How are The Crappie And Cats At Night? I might Go For A Few Hours Tonite. Cats are not in yet. Talked to a guy who got 10 last night 2 keepers. Go before dark. That's when they are biting.

Don't look for a big catch of crappie or cats at this time. Yes some crappie are showing up if you think that out of 5 + fishermen got 3 keepers is good then go for it.
It still slow but some fish are showing up. I was told today the water temp is at 48. That is still to cold!
I was there this morning seems the bite is after 1:00pm to sunset and its not going to be a limit.
One thing is for sure a bad day of fishing is still better then a good day at work. Its nice to visit with others at the barge.

Well they are moving in at night too. Last night with not Evan trying I got 15+. No keepers.
Other guy I know out there got 30+ with a few keepers one really nice one.
All off jigs one guy got a nice one off minnow.
All 2-8 foot deep. Got all mine in 7' of water.
Colors black gum black night caging cricket opening night. Hitting it still or swimming at night they don't like it jiged.

When it hits 58 + id bet the crappie and them sand bass will show up. Just saying

Still have a little ways to go. It's at 47.9.
It's getting there.
They are talking about someone getting a 2lbs this morning. Don't know if that's true will need to talk to the AM guy and see if someone got a pic.

Where do most people find the sandies when they hit the barge? I've always known that the crappie are good underneath by the structure but would assume that the sandies are thicker out on the edges of the barge?...
