Windex multisurface with vinegar. This is specifically what Humminbird recommends...only.

Install a screen saver and the spots will wipe off with almost any cloth. Saves a lot of time.

For non-touch screens use 50/50 vinegar and distilled water OR the vinegar-based Windex. For touch screens (Lowrance), use 50/50 distilled water and isopropyl alchohol. I put my mixture into a small spray bottle from Wally world and carry it along with a microfiber cloth. Keep the mixture handy on the boat, it will keep the spots from building up and with one spray, wipe and it's completely clean.

Bass Boat Saver works great! I love Bass Boat Saver, but I can't get it to remove the hard water spots on my HDS. I use it on everything else though. Makes them shine like a diamond in a goats...
