Are you looking to build a 175 watt green mercury vapor underwater light for your slip? Here are the instructions I followed to build mine. http://2coolfishing.com/ttmbforum/showthread.php?t=210879My 175 watt green mercury vapor underwater light. I also bought three sets of 5050 green LED light strips from ebay and used them to place lights on my boat, the sides of my slip and to build two underwater green LED lights for night fishing in my boat. You can see the green LED slip lights on the rear of the slip in the picture above. I only placed them on the rear 16' of the slip since the pontoon has them and is parked at the front of the slip.

That's a really cool idea.
I'm not one to call out other people's work, so PLEASE don't take this the wrong way. I really do like the condo.
Looks to me like when you're fishing it sooner or later you're bound to hook that milk crate through the top. It's not very heavy and surely it will pull over or maybe even up if you're using braided line.
Again, just a thought, not meant to be rude. Thanks for the input. I appreciate any comments that help me catch fish. I thought about that and decided to sink it under the walkway. I won't fish right on top of it so it shouldn't be a problem with hang ups unles the fish swims for cover and spits the hook out. Still I'm not much into braided line. I use 4lb test for crappie. Really only the tubes are sticking out. I figured with all the info on crappie being light sensitive, placing it under the walkway was the best place. I have two more gaps between the floats under the walkways that will serve for the next two I'm making. Then I just need to get out there right at dusk when the bite is best.

what marina are you in Catmanz? I am at EM Marina often. We just moved to The Legends. Being this close to the water almost drives me insane with ideas. Camo Jon boat. Maybe we'll see you on the lake some time this summer.

Still there are those who use GPS then stay right on top of them with trolling motor. I couldn't because I have basic gear and electronics.

OK, forgive me, I'm new at this. I know i guess MANY use the higher tech electronics and GPS to find these things.....but being either PVC or plastic, was wondering what would show up. Your crappie condo looks pretty darn good to me but, like I said, I'm new at this. LOL, be my luck to put them out and not be able to ever find them again!! Looks good but, I have a dumb question. When you place it or more, HOW DO YOU RETURN TO THEM ? GPS? That only gets you close doesn't it? Forgive a newbie.. I placed it in my boat slip as many do. Thanks for the link and the picture EZ. Thats exactly what I'm talking about.
As you can see from the picture I placed this on the side of my slip, about 1/2 way down the slip. I just moved to a deeper slip and have placed it at the front of the slip this time. I have it in place now, I just need to hook the transformer back up so I can plug it in. I allowed another slip owner to talk me into placing it in the middle of the slip this way, which was a mistake.
