Probably pretty universal that most all of us would do what made us the greatest financial gain. If you could keep it alive, the fish itself would be worth a fortune. Also, as mentioned, I would catch it in/on/with whatever paid me the most to say it.

I would call Johnny Morris over at Bass Pro Shop's and ask him what I caught her on, and what rod & reel was I using at the time. Lol that is an awesome, and CORRECT, answer.

That would be a challenge. I always wondered how to even handle a lake record. Hard to find official weigh scale in the area in order to get fish size registered. Plus how to keep it alive for few days would also be challenging.

First of all, if your going to dream, why not think Big! How about a world record. I'd turn her over to TPW for the SAL program. I'd get everything I would want from such a fish, and I would help the only entity I know of that does anything to improve fishing in my home state.

1)whatever it takes to have it officially registered for the new record
2) practice these phrases
-I caught Bessy using my Dobyn's Extreme series rod it handled her like a champ!
-I caught Bessy and I couldn't have done it if my Bass Cat hadn't gotten me there!
-I caught Bessy and she just couldn't resist that Lake Fork hyper worm!
-You know I sure was at ease knowing I had McCoys Mean Green 20# spooled up when I caught Bessy!
-There's nothing like a cold Miller Lite after fighting the new TX state record, it really taste great yet its less filling!
Yes this is me exactly hahaha!!!! Yes the best reply yet but I'd want it in the SAL program so these genetics would be passed on. I need to buy some Catch and Release Live Well Additive, you never know when you might hook up to a SAL fish........
