Take your lower init to Steve's prop shop and let him fix it correctly.

With that new wrap, sure looks like a showroom new one... sorry about the broken skeg. With our 'on going drought' better it was the skeg than the entire lower unit  aw man, on that new rig!!! Say it ain't so That new rig is 8 years old and still going strong just did a lot of recent upgrades.

Take it to B&B Prop in Richland Hills. Corner of Rufe Snow and Baker Blvd. they will make it look new. You can take the boat and they will ate it off and reinstall

The best course would be to find a good case and have your parts put in it or buy another lower unit. Don't get one of the Blackfins because... the BLACKFIN BLADE SAVER comes in 2 convenient sizes to fit most outboards under 70 hp. Did it take all the skeg off? If it was me and I was running over 70 mph I would look for another case. A skeg coming loose at speed can be dangerous.

Put a torquemaster lower unit on it with some better gearing. Prop it, and get more performance out of it.
