no different news today so far, waiting on neurologist but I'm guessing it will be Monday before he comes. I could be wrong but I bet I'm not. Thanks for all the prayers and wellwishes.

O.K. finally some good news, we walked in there and he opened his eyes and looked at me, I said Pops can you see me? he noded his head, I said can you see Mom? he noded his head again. the nurse asked him to squeeze his hand and he did. Thank you Lord!

More good news this morning, he is awake a lot more and they just pulled the tube from his throat. He is talking (more like whispering but still) and we have mom in there in a chair by his side.

Today was a great day. They had him up & in a chair for a couple of hours, he ate some ice chips, then a little bit of juice & some cream of chicken soup. He is talking good and has already asked for a Coors Light twice. I am taking off one more day of work tomorrow to make sure I'm there when his Neurologist comes in, then my wife is off all of the rest of the week to take Mom to the hospital every morning.

Thanks y'all, he had another good day today, he is having a little trouble with his legs, mainly the right one but they said they expect full recovery after a couple of weeks of rehab. Woo hoo!
