This is going into a slough off of the Mississippi River just north of Venice. It's very shallow at the mouth. You have to come from the up current side and make a hard right at wide open, trimmed out, and plate all the way up. He just didn't know how his boated turned and slid up the bank. It is very narrow ditch and if your not rolling hard you won't make even you don't slide up the bank.
I've never stuck it there but have been close several times. it's very tricky.

He doesn't look very young to me


I've been a trucker for yrs so haven't been able to fish as much as i'd like , but i'm trying to learn. My son goes with me , so that is cool,he is trying to learn also, we both want to become better fisherman.

Need a bigger engine to power through that shallow stuff. Been there & done that at age 18. I hope no one got hurt during the sudden deceleration.
