Thanks for all the prayers y'all, Dad did real good through the surgery. Old valve out, new valve in, everything perfect. But for some reason he didn't want to wake up, they tried every hour, on the hour, but when he would start to wake up, he would get agitated & wouldn't nod his head when the nurse said,"If you can hear me nod your head" so they would have to knock him out again, they said they can't let him wake up agitated, due to risk of stroke so they can only give it a minute or so & if he can't respond to the basic commands, they have to knock him back out & let him rest some more, we tried it 6 times & each time they had to knock him back out. I was finally able to talk mom into leaving & letting him rest at around 8, they said they will call mom at whatever time he wakes up and he has a one on one nurse till morning that doesn't leave his side. I have my alarm set to call at midnight & check on him if we haven't heard anything by then. Headed back up there at 5 am.

Praying for Mom & Dad plus Kevin and family. Tyler has some Great heart Dr. My pacemaker is ticking on !!!

Thanks Y'all, my wife hauled Mom & dad to the hospital this morning early (left at 3:30 am), I came on in to the office to take care of some thing that I couldn't put off & I will be headed that way in a couple of hours. His surgery is at 7:30 in Tyler. I will keep y'all updated. Prayers up for you my brother. Keep us informed/updated. See you soon.

We are back up here this morning, he's still not wanting to wake up. waiting on doctor to get here. I'm worried now, this isn't normal.
