If I was you I would hold off the last few nights I have worked did not see one fish.
The shad are THICK!!!!!!!
The crappie are not in just yet or they are not ratting becuz the shad are to EZ to get.
Give a few more days of good wether and it will turn on.

Ok this thread is becoming neglected.... Big Mike? There are NO fish at the lewisville fishing barge, absolutely no reason to go!   Lolol

I was there couple of days ago. Fishing from 6pm to 8pm, not a single bite. I was the ONLY one fishing there. SO SLOW!

The barge has seen a big brush add-on Good stuff but takes time for fish to add to it.
The barge has been moved so much in the last year due to water and well the wind had moved it to. Lets make the crappie chase the brush. Last I was there the shad was getting into the wells good thing but the crappie may just be hitting the shad at best. I think the best part of the barge this year will be the sandie run. Just my thinking.

Thanks for info!! I fished from about 11pm-1am, not a bite. I will definitely be fishing the sandbass run.
