It was a tough cold day out there. The forecast for partly sunny and highs in the 50's didn't pan out. The sun finally broke out about an hour or so before it was time to head for the ramp. grin

Kirk and I fished with guide Tony Clark who worked hard for us. It wasn't for lack of trying, but we landed one chunky bass of 4 pounds 10 ounces that Kirk caught. thumb

Congrats to the teams that caught them. I can promise that catching 20+ pounds in yesterday's conditions was no small feat!! Here's the chunk that Kirk caught. Thanks to Tony for working hard, and we really enjoyed fishing with him. cheers

What a great event! Big thanks to Jason, Stax & Holeshot. You guys did a great job and put together a great time. Also, big thanks to all the guides, sponsors and LFM . The weather was tough in all of us and you guys busted your butts.

Congrats to Justin on the repeat and the bragging rights!
Did we ever get the top5 tallied?

Thanks again to everyone!!!

Hats off to the teams that caught them Saturday. That was the coldest 50 degree day ever. Seemed like I could not get warmed up and then the one and only fish of the day came to the boat and there was hope! Met some really hospitable people at this event and the new accommodations LFMarina has put in near the road were some of the best I've seen at a lake. Thanks to everyone that had a hand in this event including my fishing partner and guide.

Well Im just getting home!!!...Another good time for a good cause in some NASTY weather! Thanks guys, I know investing time and money into fishing in these conditions is not for everyone. But thanks to everyone that helped make this one another success!

Just as last year we will do some math over the next few days and get back with you on the "rough" amount of money yall helped raise for the Lake Fork community! It was great to see some old friends, as well as make some new ones!

Thanks again guys and sponsors for continuing to support this event!

Thanks to everyone who made this happen. I had a great time(Friday night and Sat). The fishing was tough and cold. I did not think you could catch fish in 39.6 degree water. Hats of to Justin for winning again.

I fished with Gary Paris and Chris N. Gary worked his arse off the entire day. We ended up with several fish but nothing over 5 pounds. It was still fun just to be on the lake laughing and joking all day long.

It was great to see everyone again. I look forward to next year. Thanks again to all of the sponsors who support this tournament and all of the guys who set this up.

Take care,

Rodney

I've got to get in on this next time. In spite of the weather (at least it wasn't very windy) I didn't see one participant that wasn't smiling Saturday afternoon! So Pack/Vick, was this weather worse than the PTT at Rayburn? That was the MOST miserable I've ever been on the water.

I think what's so special about this Tournament is it's about fishing for Love. We were hand shaking, hugging, drinking, eating, and cussing for the Guides and the Community of Lake Fork. There is no other lake like it in Texas. I've fish it from day 1 and I will fish it till the end.

Can't wait for next year.

Always a good time. Fishing was slow for us, but we had a great time. We looked up and it was 3:00 already, you know you are having a good time when the weather was not great and fishing was slow, but you still had a fun day. Thanks to Rick Carter who worked his but off for us to put us on fish, this man knows his Chit and if you ever need a great guide, give him a call. Jeff was a blast to be with and the sandwiches were awesome, and hope we can get together again soon!

Rick

I had an absolute blast. I haven't spent much time around Fork and it was great to meet so many people from that community.

Thanks to HoleShot, Stax and JDamage for running the show.

Thanks to Barry at Oak Ridge for the awesome accommodations and food during my stay.

Great to finally meet Cam and hang out over at LFM. Grills, Billy and myself did our best to finish off all that ice cold Miller Lite on Saturday night, but I don't think we succeeded. Stax, thanks again for letting me crash on Saturday.

HUGE thanks to my partner and guide Justin Margraves. Justin put us on them and to catch 25 lbs on a day like that felt pretty damn good. I had a blast and will certainly be back to fish with him again, hopefully when the water temps are a little north of 50. That was a grind!

Winning pattern was fishing traps in the grass, which seemed to be the ticket for many of the teams that caught them.

I heard it was an Alabama Rig on fish suspended at 20' over 40' of water.
