Got my new yak last night....Cuda 12 yep another one. The new features /lumbar/gear trac/better rod holders/ center console tray make it hard to beat. I can car top it with ease, paddle big or skinny water. River tethering not a big deal. Hi/Lo seating and stand if I want to. It's the Swiss Army knife of kayak fishing IMO. I turned over a new leaf guys and got a rudder to help manage wind a little more. Well now it's time to Ninja-fi her!
( yes Tom "Ninja-fi" is a real word lol )

Nice! I like the new lid and lumbar. I bet you haven't noticed that the seat has a small change to. the front bends down a bit and that gives better access to the pocket under the seat.

Nice! I have a Cuda 12 too, and I love it. Have fun making her your own!

How easy is it to stand? For reference I fish in a Coosa and stand and fly fish alot. How would it compare to it? Looking for something a little more wind friendly

When I had both I determined that the C12 was much easier to stand and flyfish from!

Nope, not the Swiss Army knife of yaks. Where's the built in live well? Built in cooler? Horizontal rod storage? Stereo with Bluetooth mp3, waterproof storage for wallet and cellphone? JK, sort of hmmm

Very nice, easy to rig with the built in gear track. The rudder is a very nice upgrade you will enjoy, lot easier to setup the kayak in the water to fish an area.

Need to get out and fish with you guys sometime, would be a great time.

The Nucanoe Frontier and KC kayaks are IMO the most stable yaks and best suited for standing fly fishing. I own a Frontier 10 and I stand and fly fish effortlessly. I actually sold my Coosa for the Frontier last year.

Ninja, congrats on the new ride! She's a beaut.
