Been bass fishing 2 yrs now. I fish by myself 95% of the time. Self taught by reading here and other sites. Have so much to learn still.

So I came across an ad for Bass University 2 day course. Looks like 2 days ($199) or 1 day at($109) to attend. Anyone ever take this course? Was it worth it? I can only afford 1 day if I decide to do it. Here are the speakers those 2 days.

Which day would you choose based on speakers? Thanks for any input!

March 1st: Ish Monroe, Mark Davis, Pete Gluszek

March 2nd: Jeff Kriet, Mike Iaconelli, Cliff Crochet

I attended several years ago and it was great....Iaconelli knows his stuff and does a nice presentation. If you have the money and time - do it.

It has been a very long time since I attended one. The format is likely different. I really enjoyed it though. The information was great and the presenters left plenty of tiome for Q&A.

I attended on 2 separate occasions years ago. Although a lot of it was basic stuff that really seemed to benefit newer anglers, if you paid attention, even a seasoned angler could pick up some pointers and little secrets. The seminar itself was good, the Q&A sessions were good, the time between presenters (like lunchtime and breaks) were even better. Most of the pros I met would talk one on one (or sometimes there were 3-4 others listening in) and answer more direct, in-depth questions like tweaking baits, etc. Got to talk to numerous pros like Denny Brauer, Mark Davis, George Cochran and Ken Cook to name a few.

I only see the 2 events on the schedule as well. Guess I would make the drive to Tulsa.

I had a friend that bought my seat in the class for a gift..
It was an awesome experience as I got to meet several pros even though it is like a classroom environment it was not at all like going to a class..
Each one of them were very personal lots of good advice and lot of history for each of them
If I had the opportunity to go again I would!

I don't need that carp. I'm so good when I get to a spot they get so scared they vacate the area and I end up not catching anything, I'm just that good.

I went to a couple years ago, they were at UTA Arlington, I think, they were pretty good, Guido Hibdon was the best, it was like a stand up comedy show, he could tell some stories.

I went about 4 years ago when they held it at the hotel across the road from Bass Pro Grapevine and went both days. I would do both days if you can.

I felt it was worth the money and learned quite a bit. These guys are all real approachable and helpful, and it's great that they spend time away from their families to help educate us regular anglers on how to get better.

I would recommend it without reservation......but make a reservation to go! LOL!!

I went last year in Dallas with Ike, Swindle, K-Short and it was well worth the $99! Those guys share lots of info and the way it's set up, there is plenty of time to mingle with them and ask questions. I will be going again if they come around Cen-Tex again.
