^^^^^^^^THIS without a doubt! If you like your rub a little spicey, get the Old Number 2 rub. I've try them all - Grand Champion and Original are in my stores as well.

Briskets get 1/3 each cracked black pepper, Kosher salt, and paprika. On ribs I usually use either Angelo's, Head Country, or Fiesta pork rib rub. Stubb's has a good rib rub too but I can't always find it locally. Ever try grub rub? Great on ribs! Grub rub is great. A lot of great links here!

Salt lick makes a great base spice for bbq, then can tweak it the way you want it. We add some super hot dried spices we make to it and it makes a great hot grilling spice.
