TPWD knows the problem. It's basically low O2 levels caused by algae. The hot water creates lots of algae, first good front in late summer or early fall that causes a few cloudy days causes the algae to consume O2 rather than produce it. We will be careful out there guys I promise! I generally try and stay as far away from any boats as I can anyways. Thanks for posting that article Lusca. Good read. I figured it would have something to do with oxygen levels but didnt know algae was the cause!
