Whites are on the move. These crazy cold nights are making them a little slow about biting but it is getting better every day. Water looks beautiful. Sandbars are gorgeous. The last rise cleaned them well and they look like sandy beaches. Today!!!!! Subject to rain changing water level. The river is very fishable some places you will need to motor slower but most places you can run. You can check out my Facebook page for picture update. River Ridge Guide Service or our website www.riverridgetx.com. I am having trouble getting my website updated Also posted pic this morning on my Facebook Jane Gallenbach. Will try to figure out how to post pic on here. It has been a while

When you talk about fishing the Sabine River - Where are you launching and what part of the river are you fishing. Big river - I have launched at Mansfield La. and fished the river there for white bass. Live in North Texas and would like to find a launch closer Louisiana.

Thanks

Most responders to Janes posts launch at her place www.riverridgetx.com . By studying a map you can find the public launches upstream and downstream from her place. Though be careful, parking your car a several of those public sites is worrisome, what with thieves and car burglars.

I will be there that weekend. I took a fly guy out a few years ago. He wore the fish out.

As much as I love Jane, we always strive to leave her place at least as clean as we find it, if not cleaner! Been known to leave a few beers in the fridge at times, too! wink
