Just got home yesterday and what I've read above is accurate for the most part.

Ron Speed Jr. is top notch.

Salto is off a bit as far as big fish but you know how that goes. It's week to week.

Ranked in this order for me.

- 7" Senkos standard TX. colors
- Zara Super Spook early every morning
- My Tweaked 3/4 oz. spinner baits from Papamark
- Mag. Zoom Lizards - Matermelon and W/R
- DD22 Cranks, burn them fast bumping into everything you can.

I am leaving in the morning to take customers to Lake Oviachic. We will there for 6 days on a drive in trip.
It I was going to be around I would build the spinner baits for you. This will help some until I can get on them for you.
- Down size the blades to a #4 willow Silver. Put on a #3.5 Chart. willow for the small blade. Use those in stained water.
- Use a Blue and Chart. Skiet on them.
- I also suggest a 3.5 White small willow on some of them. I use those in clear water.

I built Jackson Bean 6 of Papamark's to take with him down there. Maybe he will post a picture of a couple for you.

They did not do well. BUT THAT MEANS NOTHING. The Mexican lakes under discussion seem to be hit and miss. Both lakes seem to still be capable of a phenomenal experience. I'm already looking to go back to Salto even though my trip wasn't as good as the last. That's fishing. There are other lakes that are worthy of a close look as well.

Donald's baits caught the snot out of some fish but I didn't get anything huge. However..... I've got some days coming where I fully expect them to catch a piggy.

Call me and we will discuss the question/answer in details...based on current conditions.

Both lakes are in great shape right now as we enter the rainy season.

Check out our photo gallery for El Salto and Baccarac...and the fish, on the website below.

Call anytime for current/honest info.

Booked with RSA several times to various lakes and all good experiances. In the day, Comendaro was the premier big fish lake. Don't know if that camp is still operating.
