I bet he wasn't playing on the Internet when he caught it. Maybe he should have been! He only caught 2 other fish. I got most of my bites dragging a shakeyhead REALLY slow, actually 2 of my bites came when I was on the mobile. I'm not doing these events for money or trying to be a Chad Griffen. I do it for fun and I have fun providing live updates (honestly just takes 30 seconds to pic & post). I'm not some old fat fingered guy fumbling the phone for 5 minutes. I think others like to see my updates. Tell me if no one wants to see them.

Do it right, Set up a wireless video camera like a go pro and show it live! ha, we'll get another fisherman for that, they would be bored out of their mind watching me! I did hear others were light on bites, many of us just got those 5 keepers and maybe a couple culls. It certainly wasn't one of those 40+ fish Squaw days for most people.

I probably should have been on the phone dragging a rig around, but I lived and died with that dam flipping stick yesterday.

Every time it seems I'm on the phone in the boat the phone just seems to jump right out of hand and into the drink. I'm one of those fat, fumbly fingered kinda guys! Talk about feeling nekkid after that happens......

Rob, Go to our website at www.usafishingtrails.com and click on the tournaments / results tab and then click on the APT Solo Challenge logo, then click on spring schedule, then click on the tournament date you want to see results for. It will be the first tournament on Squaw Creek. Hope this helps. All our tournament programs use the same process to find results. FYI USA FT staff

Had a great day as well. Just couldn't land that 5th fish. Lost one about 4-5 lbs, just before I could get the net under it... Dang! If I could have had that one it would have made a big difference... Probably several guys had the same thing happen, those fish in Squaw Creek are horses Man!!!
Caught two of my fish on back to back cast, out of the same tree in about 6' of water on a point. Then it was all down hill from there... tick tock, tick tock...Seemed Like forever before I caught another fish. All in All great day to be fishing!!!
