What an awesome pic. My grandpa was a big rancher, in his early years, after WW2, he ran a ranch called the Johnson's ranch very close to that side of the lake.

It's hard to tell if they rotted off or are in the ground. I did not dig down to see.

I used to scuba dive Hells Gate 40 years ago but never seen the bottom till now,thats to cool.

Back in the early 60's, climbing to the top of Hell's Gate and jumping into the lake was a right of passage. That lake has a lot of history.
At least my boat and truck are paid for, woo hoo!
