Waiting on people annoys me to no end. If you think you are gonna be late let the person know immediately so they know they can take there time. And no, telling someone you are running 15mins late at 6:59 when you are supposed to meet them at 7 doesnt count. Only fish with one guy other than family members because i know they wont be late unless there is a good reason and they let me know ahead of time.

Depends on the partner. Good friend and happens only occasionally-no problem. Anyone else, I'll give'em 1 with verbal counseling and if they screw it up again, bolt

Thanks Everyone for the INPUT...I just wanted to bring it up since it is about time for the weather to get better for fishing (I fish no matter what)..Die hard here...I think it says alot about a person character and how dependable they are...I take this sport and life style very serious glad I am not the only one out there that feels this way. So glad we have TFF to vent a little...AKA PETE don't be late on Feb 15, 2014 ha-ha

If you are sitting around reading this stuff on this site your likely more serious about it than your friends. I only have two friends that are in to it. And will stand there staring at the line dead sticking a fluke for 10 min a cast. No radio not much talking fishing. You need to be really simple minded to do this.

They get one tardy then no more. I never realized until I bought a boat, how much time and effort a boat owner puts into taking a friend out on the water. They should respect that. That might be why they say never buy a boat, find a friend that has one!

BigTexmex...Pete won't be late because we are staying together and use my alarm clock. I usually hand him his first cup of coffee. By the way did you get your itch scratched? Ha ha

I always seem to be ok with a few minutes late (5-10),but more than that I leave them. The ones I hate dealing with is the mights or maybes. You sight might or maybe and I leave the back seat open for whoever shows up first. You snooze you lose.

Public forums are probably not the best place for "inside" conversations. Too many questions from this post.

I usually find out how serious someone is about fishing when I tell them to meet me at 5 am. If they start saying that is too early then I know they aren't going to work out.

The other ones I don't like are the ones that have to ask the wife if they can go fishing!

I just got by myself to avoid all the hassles and to keep my friends. I prefer to fish alone and it's more relaxing not babysitting.

so did BiggerTEXmex, mess with you. don't be too mad you have to see him at Christmas.

I remember this guy who was fishing a tournament on fork, and quit early. Put his stuff away and was watching his partner then.......
