I have used Obie's rubs for years. SteakMaker is a good one (my brother use's this one to make his beef jerkey) and Sunshine is great on Chicken.
I have also mixed his Big Bull with his Smooth Moove for a brisket rub.
You can also hear Obie on KNON drive home on Tuesday afternoon's from 4:00 to 6:00 for some good Country Americana music.

Derek - I also poured in some Gator Breath in my boiling water when cooking some Klobase a while back. Yak Se Mas!

When I go out to Hard 8 in Coppell I buy a couple of bottles of their rub. Good stuff. If I'm smoking a brisket I will only use salt and pepper.

I got my Obie-Que rub in last night. Right out of the bottle it's a very good tasting rub.

I ordered a Dizzy sampler pack yesterday. Pretty good deal for $7.00 freight included.

Briskets get 1/3 each cracked black pepper, Kosher salt, and paprika. On ribs I usually use either Angelo's, Head Country, or Fiesta pork rib rub. Stubb's has a good rib rub too but I can't always find it locally.

Never tried Grub Rub, but see it in my store always. I'll give it a go on the 7/4 rib-fest. Thanks!
