The bite on Palestine continues to be strong. I went out yesterday after noon around 3:00 and put 18 keepers in the boat with a bunch of short fish as well. The wind shifted out of the North about an hour after I got there so had to pack up early due to poor planning clothing wise. I caught all the fish on Pepops jigs. 1/16 oz blue chartreuse on bottom with purple chartreuse about a foot above it. All the fish I found were sitting about a foot off the bottom. If was fun until the wind switched! I need a few more of your lake Palestine specials. I think I found every piece of brush in the lake yesterday. I donated several!

The bite was good this evening. I only caught 15 keepers in about an hour and half. The small fish definitely showed up. I three a couple dozen back. Peepops blue chartreuse and purple chartreuse jigs were hard to beat. Hope everyone catches them this weekend!

Ketchn, It really is a top notch crappie lake. I grew up on Cedar Creek and it is a great fishery but I believe Palestine is just as good.

Ketchm you wouldn't like Palestine there is not enough yellow bass in there for you to catch,sorry buddy only joking .  I had a lot of fun there yesterday hadn't been over there for 12 years .
