I've been using Bull Buster mono, 12 to 20lb, mostly because it is pretty good line for being cheap, I used to use Big Game. For catfishing I used Gorilla line, and it worked good, just looked like a caterpillar after a while.
I like 832, but it gets pretty expensive on my big reels, so I keep it to low profile bait casters and smaller spinning reels.
I just saw that Bull Buster is selling braid now, haven't tried it yet, but will look into it when I am in need of some.

Just switched almost everything over to Berkley FireLine Fused Crystal after using it on a crappy reel last season. It really made a big difference and turned a not so great reel into something that I actually enjoyed using.

Berkeley Big Game. Has a little memory, but is very abrasion resistant and cheap.

Berkeley Big Game. Has a little memory, but is very abrasion resistant and cheap. A few years ago I ran into a 3 bad spools of 20lb Big Game it had weak spots in it, would just snap on a cast, about very 20 feet or so it would break under a tug test. The 30lb I got at the same time was fine. I quit using it back then, might try it again sometime though because that was my go to line for years.

i use trilene big game on everything from my 10lb rods to 80lb off shore rigs. the only rod with power pro is my ultra light becuse i need the low stretch of braid to set the hook with a small limber rod plus it helps the feel of your lure. in salt water and the braid i use florocarbon leader on everything. salt water fish and clear water and fishing in snags realy benefit from florocarbon leaders. ande is the best bang for the buck.
