I use them for all moving baits except spinners. I am constantly changing colors and baits and that time adds up. I've never lost a fish due to a failing Norman speed clip. I concur. I have been using Norman Speed Clips for years and have never lost a fish due a failure on their part. I also put a small swivel on the speed clip.

Someone once told me the fish could see it so I quit using them.
Then a certain guide out at Fork spanks me day in and day out and he uses small snap swivels.
I'm back on the Norman speed clips and love the ease of changing hard baits. If it increases the action.... fantastic.

I use them on all my crankbait rods. Good for the action and nice to not have to re-tie every time you want to change baits or colors. +1

I only use Speed Clips. Swivels for C-Rigs and Donkey Rigs.
