Nice report and pictures. That's a hawg! I haven't had much luck with crappie lately so I turned to the other side (White bass and hybrid) for now. Keep those reports coming. Enjoyed reading your posts as always. Thank you sir.

Man alive, that's some good catching there buddy. Times still in short supply around here, but we'll meet up sometime soon! Had my boat hooked up Saturday morning then jobs popped up around the house. Went and put back in it's spot Monday morning. That was pretty close to fishing. Beautiful weather Saturday and not to bad Sunday. It won't happen again!

Thanks guys for the replies. cheers The Guadalupe River is one Great Fishery! "Txtider": The Guadalupe where I fish is not that far from the crystal clear waters of the Comal River which feeds right into the Guadalupe. The Comal River is completely fed by springs. fish

"Lookingfor25": The Guadalupe is loaded with big Redear! eeks Other than a Crappie a fresh mess of Redear are hard to beat on the dinner table. food They also put up one heck of a fight. boxing

Looks like you got onto some nice ones Chuck. thumb Was out three times this past week and it was very slow. We picked up a brush pile and it looked as if it was holding some fish. Fished it for about an hour and nothing. Did manage to pick up a few by docks on the far east side towards the main lake. Jeff went to Meadow today but I have not heard how he did. Will let you know. I have you fished Meadow yet? noidea

Side Note: Days off have switched to Sundays and Mondays. eeks Going to hit it hard Saturday when I get off of work and all day Monday! Again Nice fish. fish

Whew. That makes feel better. After a couple of good trips to the Guadalupe I had a rough day last Friday as well. One small bass and maybe a single crappie bite but maybe something else (trick limb). Overcast and windy and a lot of rising water debris. Glad it is getting back to normal. Thanks as always for the great report.

Thanks Guys for the replies. cheers "Choupique": Yes Sir I have had several days this winter where I could not buy a bite. bang Even the Bluegill were hiding. hide2 It has been one big game of hide and go seek this winter. peep I have had a few super days where the bite has been great and has lasted. dance2 I think this unsettled weather has em scattered. hmmm One day it is in the low twenties and the next day it is mid to upper seventies. nuts Friends of mine who are out there a lot are having the same reports. Some good days with a lot of bad ones. eeks

"ChugR": Yes Sir those "Shell Crackers" are some good eats for sure! Nothing beats a plate of fresh Crappie and Redear! food

Curtis: I have not been on Meadow yet this year. Heath and his brother went out Tuesday and caught 10 between em. All keepers. Looks like your home lake is the hot spot right now. Let me know how Jeff did. fish

Thanks Chuck. cheers Spoke with Jeff and he had a pretty good day yesterday. He boated 27 and he fished five different spots on two different sections of the river. First good day he has had this year. He also said he is finding eggs in some of the fish that he kept. I also sent you a PM! thumb
