Well I'm not gonna go get in the middle of all that. lol.

I fished the Carthage Bass League tournament today when we left the park ranger told me there where a 146 boats just in tournaments (7) today , he said at 8:30 am they had to turn fun fisherman away because there was no place to park. He said also there was 4 or 5 next weekend there , we caught several fish today that had hook marks in there mouth and I caught one that had a worm hook still in its mouth and the hook look like brand new.

Talked to the park warders and he said they had a count of 143 boats today. I was one of them. Lol
They had employees their this morning at 5 am helping people launch and park.
Counted 11 boats fishing scraper cut at one point during the day.
Can't tell you how many times I held my breath as I watched people run.
Even witnessed someone run under durgens bridge on pad. Lol

Been fishing Martin for a long long time and never seen anything like I did today. I can't believe there were not any wrecks. I saw boats running in places where they would have never made it if the water was a foot lower. Think I'll just stick to fishing during the week and leave the weekend alone for awhile. I even saw game wardens on the lake today and that was a first too.

How many tournys are there gonna be the 18th?

4 on the 18th. Not including the small city tournaments that dont post their schedules.

Yesterday, when I registered Athens Bass Club for a tournament on the 18th, I was told by the park ranger that there were 170+ boats currently on the lake and that there is 7 tournaments registered for the 18th. What a circus...

But posting all these fishing reports help a lot I tell ya.....

I fished out there yesterday and did not think it was too crowded, but I fish Lake Fork all the time. We were like boat 125 they said and we got there about 8:15 and launched about 8:30. Fishing was decent with our best 5 weighing 14+ the best a 5lb 1oz. I was helping a friend pre fish for the Forney Bass Club tournament this coming Saturday. We stayed out of the hot water and scraper cut for the most part and fished cooler water. First time on the lake in 20 years and I was impressed. I also saw some folks running wild though.

I just want to go c where people run the lake. Bet there all kinda new boat lanes people made now. Lol
