Myself,Mike "USMC_GY,and Bob (Bob Landry) hit the Guadalupe River at day break. It was cold in the hill country with the temperature right at 26 degrees. We started fishing at 7:30am and did not get one bite. The trout stocking truck from Texas Parks&Wildlife arrived at around 10:30am and put in some trout. We fished for an hour and thirty minutes and did not get one bite. We also did not see any fish and the water was crystal clear. There were about 30 other anglers there and we saw only three fish caught. We took a break and headed to Granny D's where a good breakfast and a hot cup of coffee saved the morning. After breakfast we fished the Canyon Trail Race and we managed to catch a bunch of nice fish. We would have caught more but several anglers who did not know how to cast much less fish were getting tangled with a lot of other anglers. We decided to call it a day. Even though there was no morning bite we still managed to get some nice ones in the afternoon to save the day. GREAT company with some GREAT food, along with a few trout. It just don't get any better. fish
