You can register at the pre tournament meeting at Anglers Pro Tackle on March 28th at 7PM. We will go over some rules and hand out the identifiers. Attending the meeting is mandatory.

The last tourney was won on a lake, the guys that fished private waters didn't fare as well.

Question- All fish have to be caught from a yak, right? No bank or wade fishing allowed (which is what I think of when you say ponds and streams)?

Yes. All fishing must be from a kayak. If anyone wants a copy of the rules PM me your email address and I will send them to you. Copies will also be available at registration.

Last fall was our first time trying this format and we had 17 anglers. Deric Miller won with 98 inches. I think we'll see a few sacks over 100 inches this time with more anglers and because of the time of year. It will be a great tournament with some good payouts.

I'm gonna give it a go again. I enjoyed the last one. Should be some bigger totals this time since the thing is taking place right in the middle of prime time.

Kudos to APT! 100% payout, $775 in gift cards, time to setup and run the event. even though im not a green fish guy, this is great. awesome way to give back to the local kayak community!! i encourage all green fish people to enter the tournament.

Based on the feedback we're getting there's going to be a good turn-out for this one. Should be fun!

same here..i have been fishing bass tournaments for awhile out of a boat..this will be my first from the yak..im excited about it..


im curious about how far people are going to travel to fish their honey holes??...I will probally be fishing northwest of McKinney..probally a good hour from APT
