Me and Mike fished the Guadalupe River this past Friday and Yesterday Monday. The bite was non stop Friday due the the river being stocked that day. We caught over 80 fish and kept 10 for the frying pan. Super Duper Lures in both gold and silver along with cheese bait was used. We made a return visit yesterday Monday and we both had to work for our limits. We were able to catch 10 in two hours. Super Duper lures gold in color were used along with cheese bait. Water is crystal clear,cold,with good current. After some great Trout action we had a super breakfast on Friday at the Union Street Station in New Braunfels. Monday we kept is simple and ate at the New Braunfels Jack In The Box. Trout action at it's best. It don't get any better.

Super job guys. Got to love those Super Dupers!





Side Note: Been catching em with both gold and silver.

Thanks Curtis. I don't think it makes that much difference in the color of those Super Dupers. However most anglers state the gold works better.





Side Note: Curtis. Have you fished the Mt. Breeze, Rio,and White Water areas yet?

yes we are thawing out. Plus we are drying up. The side yard was a muddy sloppy mess no it's dry.

I have not fished either of those spots. I have only fished the springs.


Side Note: Does the Parks@Wildlife stock these areas?

Thanks Curtis for the info! As far as I know the Trail race, White Water,and the Springs are the only places Texas Parks&Wildlife stocks. Several Private stockings occur inside the trophy zones.
