I might be down for this one if the schedule permits. Never fished Lavon.
And Henry let me know about the Red River trip... if I'm not working I'm 100% down for that. Had a blast last time I fished that river.

I actually bought the 1 day license last time we floated. $15 plus $3 to do it online. I usually end up getting an annual NR OK license as we like to fish the blue river and a few other places but didn't this past year. Looks like the annual license actually starts today instead of Jan 01. https://www.wildlifedepartment.com/forget1/LicenseDescription.aspx

If anyone can, he can. But the word on the Lavon forum is that it's a tough bite for crappie this year.

They can be tough this time of year. I discovered that WalMart is carrying the Capps & Coleman rigs so I'm coming armed with those and minnows!!!

What is everyone fishing for? Jerry if you go after crappie where are you going to get your minnows? I was thinking of trying for sandbass by the discharge and maybe drifting for catfish. I will be making a trek to the Asian market for bait if anyone needs some let me know. Last time I was there they had some big ribbonfish.

Christian, I did not see your post, Dan and I would take you up on the shad offer. Just don't give any that catch big ones like you catch! I don't want anything over 5 lbs. LOL
