Me and Tex44 went to OK to fish with Lance who use to guide in this neck of the woods. This is unreal trying to get these suckers in . The ones we caught weighed from 35 to 65 lbs. I can assure you it is a young mans game. Will post some more pictures later. The picture of me and Tex both with a fish was the only double we caught. Johnny

Very cool! I've seen those in the White River just below Beaver Dam while kayak fishing for trout. I always thought they were called spoonbills.

Had a great time with Sandjohnny and Tex. I have to tell you guys...Johnny got his butt kicked by those fish! We even have video proof. When I get time to edit and bleep his language I'll post it up here. Here is a video shot a couple weeks ago for those interested in what we are doing. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MQMwjbDQlEwNow through the first of May is really good. As we get to the spring time, it gets crazy crowded though. Right now, we may see one or two boats all day. Love this time of year!

Just got back from OK and spoon bill or paddlefish . Wore plum out. Did not catch as many today but as far as I am concerned we caught plenty. Fish were scattered more. The one that Tex caught and is seeing if his mouth is bigger was about 60 and the one pictured with me was a little over 50. We caught more but this will show the size fish you get. Johnny
