Mike will you keep us up to date on when the crappie really move in and are hitting minnows? I have some friends that are fairly new to fishing and would love to get them on some good crappie and I know when they are on the barge can be the place. thanks for keeping us up on everything else.

Mike will you keep us up to date on when the crappie really move in and are hitting minnows? The crappie have been good the last few days. Not good Enough to post. But 3 ppl walk out with 40 on there stringer. They where stuck there for over 24 hours. Lol.
Had more ppl there the last 3 ice days then the last week. The funny thing was they got crappie. They even got a few sand bass in the carp well. Lol.
If any of you guys have any ?'s about anything going on just post on here and I will let you know.
O and the barge is fine. The ice did make it sit lower in the water but no big deal now.

That's awesome!! I know when we had that ice storm back in 2011 I spent the whole week fishing inside the barge and did pretty good with the crappie. i may have to come out there for an hour or two tonight to see whats' going on.

Ms.Violet walked out with 20 or so crappie today. Quite a large basket of nice crappie. But that's with the 10 others gave her.
