These two pictures may not have been my best days fishing, I've had to many to recall.. The one below is history for me... Not 100% on the year 1982 or 83 near cowhead cove in april on a spinnerbait.

This one is history too, my biggest so far, only took 26 yrs from the first one I caught. Funny thing is, they were both caught within 300 yards from each other .LOL

My best day ever size -wise and quality-wise was January 2011 on Lake Fork. I had a 9.2, 6.5, 6.3, 5.4, 5.1. It had just snowed the night before, it was super cold, and the jig bite was on.
Numbers-wise, a private lake in Arkansas, I had about 50 fish all on buzzbaIts and white/bleeding red spinnerbaits.

I think I would.

Mine would be 3 days at Falcon last year with Ronnie Kelley. Wow, that was a fun trip. We caught numbers as well as size. I will always remember that trip.

Toledo Bend Early February 2011, spitting snow. High of 28 dgrees, 19 degrees when I left the ramp. Best 5 went 30+ pounds pre fishing, quit fishing found the pattern at 9:30, quit fishing at 11am. Caught on 8+ and decided to quit fishing. Truly believe I could have busted 40 lbs. Smallest fish I caught in 2 days of fishing was 3.5lbs.

Have had a few 100+ fish days on Fayette and Amistad.

My best day was May 2013 caught over 50fish in about 4-5hours of fishing out of a ranch pond on topwater frog. Had many to many 3-4s to count two over 6lbs one over 7lbs and two more pushing 8.5lbs-9lbs all on frog fish had just spawned and it was a chilly rainy morning. I have had some good big fish days on Fork,Ivie, and Falcon but never that many fish

back in the early 80's fishing at Cape Cod National Seashore.

One evening Cheryl and I were riding up the beach in our beach buggy and the tide was just starting to go out. And we started finding pencil poppers laying on the beach where the tide had topped the beach and was now receding.

Arounding a turn on the beach our headlight pointed out in the water and the birds were working over bait. We stopped and starting throwing those lures we found.

Right away we were into really big bluefish. Between 16 and 20 pounds each. They'd take some line and really let you know you had a powerful fish on.

Well we fished there until it got light. When the battle was over there was a big pile of bluefish laying on the beach. After we counted them it came to an uneven number and so came the arguement of who called the most.

It took me three hours to clean, skin and bag all of the blues.
While she slept.

I have had some really good memories already and have only hit bass fishing hard for a couple years.

March 23rd, 2013 - Grapevine Series on Lewisville with partner Jim Whelan we won with #26.71 including a 9.05 BB.

March 22nd, 2012 - Lake Fork with guide Cody Malone 12.18 pounder certified Oak Ridge. Also had a 7 that day and lost another big girl.

April 3, 2012 - Falcon with Jim Behnken 44.34 Best 5 on Cul-m-Rite. Next 5 still 38+. We had a few 9 pounders, not a single DD, but we caught so many 7-9 pounds. Very next day 41.52 pounds and dozens of 6-9 pounders.
