I went out there this morning for about an hour and a half and the shad are still way to thick to fish I only saw 3 shorts get caught.

I drove across it a few days ago and there were lots of pelicans by the Lawther Bridge.

Not much going on today out there. A few shorts and a cpl keepers is all i saw caught. May have been better in the morning or evening but not when i was there. Shad are still thick at the bend i snagged two there on three cast so moved around and only a few lite bites but no fish. Even the yellow bass in my other areas i normally fish werent hitting the jig like they did a couple weeks ago. Most that i did see caught was by people using minnows and of course some yellow bass still being caught by those fishing on the bottom with whatever they use for bait there.
