My mother, brother, and I found out later we lived in the same apartment complex in Houston as Dean Corll in the early 70's. He killed 28 kids. I was 10 at the time.
And I know who "Jeff" is.

I've known 2.
One was a decent friend in school and lived down the street. At around 24 he killed a guy with a hammer over something meth related. The other I'd met, and not really hung out with. He killed a classmate over his girlfriend, who was in my class. He was an all state running back when he did it too. Ruined his life.
update: the guy that killed my neighbor with a hammer was released about 2 months ago. Spent about 18 years in slammer. 18 months in the slammer for killin a guy with a hammer his lawyer musta been a bad mamma jammer years homey, years!

I knew one when I was dam near homeless lived with a guy from work at a hotel we were drinkin one day he told me q gay man in Dallas hit on him and he beat him to death few weeks layer him and his childs mother went to the lake they got into it he beat her unconscious and threw her in the trunk she called the cops while in the trunk they got behind him and he rolled the car with the daughter inside and the cops got him after a few months in jail I found out that he actually did kill a gay man and was convicted after the child's mother told the police did an investigation I never took him serious and we lived together for 4 months

This guy was a good friend of mine and roomate for almost a year before we went to seperate boats. Don't know what happened to him, but I saw him a couple of times and he was almost psychotic in his demeanor.
