Thanks for all the replies. cheers Hopefully we can have a good winter of Crappie fishing. dance2 This will be my second year fishing for em. So far we got off to a good start and it is not even winter yet. thumb

"Jsino": We are fishing the eastern end of the river closest to Seguin TX. The river is very kayak friendly. Both Dunlap and Placid have public ramps. Mcqueeney is another story. There is a place in the Logs Wood Subdivision where you can launch a kayak onto Mcqueeney with out any problems. fish

Thanks. From what I've seen of it the Guadalupe is a beautiful river. May have to take the yak out there one of these days.

Congrats on a fine catch and I have fond memories of that river from my childhood days.

Looks like you guys got an earlier start on em. I marked my calendar and it was this last December 21 when you started nailing em. Looks like a good Crappie Run is in the forecast.

Side Note: Good job finding some nice fish. Also stay warm!

Thanks Tom. Looks like a good winter is shaping up! Still need to find some new brush piles. Most of our old ones have washed away during the previous flood. Oh well that is just fishing. fish

Super job Guys. Will be looking for em Tuesday. Jeff and I are going to spend most of time on the channels. Going to be fishing two different lakes. Will let you know how we did. Again great job to both you and "USMC_GY" !. cheers

Side Note. Located some decent brush piles in 18 feet of water last week before the fronts. Hopefully some fish moved in on em. thumb
