This thread has definitely alleviated my jealousy of y'all with your 250 hp 21 ft boats. I'll take my tracker and it's 50 horse now. Damn thing almost makes gas. Lol

I spend between 50-60 k a year on disel for my equipment and 12-15 k on gas without figuring in what I spend on my hobbies. If I knew I probably wouldn't fish anymore

I burn $1200 a month through my truck. so the 30 gallons it takes to fill up the kitty with the 150 doesn't mean much.

I have no idea how much I spend on either. I'd probably puke if I knew. Of course if you have to worry too much about it you probably don't need a boat

Yall get on the water more often than I go to work. I might spend $150 a year in gas for the boat. I've got 17' Triton with a 115 Evinrude. I usually throw in 5 gallons on the way to the lake and I only go about once a month.
I spend less than $5k in gas for my truck, my car, my wife's car and my boat combined. No sense in wasting that much money on something you're literally burning away.

Ha! I have a VMAX, that thing was built by Exxon/Mobil. No seriously I can't pass a station without stopping. Think it burns gas being pulled down the highway by my truck!

Mine sips gas so I'm ok with it.
I sacrifice in fishing comfort but I am uncomfortable with what most boats get in mpg.
I can get 8 mpg but usually I'm cruising at 6.

That is like going to academy I throw the recipt in that handy little trash can that is always by the door. Destroy all evidence before anyone finds out. They know dang well why they put that trash can there.
