Burleson store is the worst. Zoom and Big Bites is all they have any variety in.

The Flower Mound Store has missile, reaction innovations, robo worms, zoom, big bites, Yamamoto, Berkley(original & havoc), gene larew, strike king and a few others I can't think of at the moment....and all fully stocked. Same way their terminal tackle selection....fully stocked.

They need to get something to replace the tackle that has been taken out of them. Use to have a lot now it's kind of slim pickings .

All Academy Stores are auto restock. Meaning as the product is sold; once it gets to a certain level an auto refill is triggered at the DC.

Sometimes inventory stats are incorrect. The system may show an item in stock at a store but the product was either lost and sent to the wrong location or it was never put on the shelf. If you don't see an item you saw in another Academy ask one of the sales associates to check the current stock & the stock level for the store you are at.

Store employees DO NOT reorder product. They can REQUEST a stock level adjustment UP or DOWN depending on their sales. Most stock level adjustments take a lot of validation to be considered or approved.

It sounds like when I get back to Longview, I better get to academy. Since posting this, every bass catcher around my home town probably bought what they have!!

I would love for Academy to carry that stuff all across the country. Would make finding the right tackle a little easier in certain places.

It's funny how they do things. Our store in Waco sucks compare to the one in Temple. Here is more a department store and Temple is a sporting goods store.

McKinney has Roboworms too, long overdue! Maybe they are going to invest more of their inventory $ on plastics instead of rods. Lots more margin opportunity there I imagine and less returns to worry about.

The Longview store is hit and miss at best. Go in there one day and the shelves are empty and the next time they're full. You just have to get lucky now and then. You think fishing lures are hard to find try buying .22 shells.

wish they had xcite also. Now they are back in Pilot Point. They have a warehouse full of product and you have to buy on line.
