 Man fell into lake at Kiowa today

Early today at lake Kiowa a man fell into the lake trying to tie his boat to a bouy. We heard a lot of yelling from someone on the dam and ran over there, someone was on the dam yelling at an old man in the lake, another boat had came over too help also, he pulled the old man into his boat and we towed his boat back to the ramp. Good thing no-one was hurt.

I was the guy that pulled him in..thanks to Mike M. For yelling hard and long enough to get me to realize there was a man in trouble..I think he will be ok. He was in the water about 5 minutes and really exhausted..thank god for the adrenaline to pull him in.. The guy was about 80 years old but one tough son of a gun..thanks charger boat man and Chris for the help..wear your life jackets guys, cold water will sap your energy in nothing flat.. I have not in the past, from this day forward I will..what a day!

It's always good this time of year to carry an extra set of clothes in the boat just in case someone does fall in.

It's always good this time of year to carry an extra set of clothes in the boat just in case someone does fall in. +1 you never know when it'll be your turn!
