I read on the website that there were going to be suprise polygraph's. Did anyone recieve any throughout the year. That would have stopped these guys before they stole more money. I dont think I could have kept donating money knowing that was going on. I will fish a few next year as I do every year as long as these guys are not part of it.

If they are not named or posted on a website no way other TD's can protect thier circuits.

by not naming them you are allowing them to move thier operation to a different trail.

I think their names will come out eventually. May have to keep it quite because of legalities. Dont know if you can prosecute on the grounds of a polygraph. I sure hope so. They should have to pay back what they earned. Im just speculating. Dont have any facts.

Bubba, polygraphs are expensive to give. With a 12 to 15 teams every week. That would take most of the entry fees. But everyone was aware and agreed to abide by this when we signed up. There are those who think they can fool these test or just don't care. The one thing that bothers me is this effected everyone from day one of the whole season. There is no way to tell who should have been named A.O.Y. and taking home the $1,600.00 for that award. These guys need to be watched for sure. There are too many weekly tournaments going on.

They need to give a polygraph every month I think. That would eliminate someone from stealing people's money for a whole 6 or 7 months.

On the website it says surprise polygraphs, i figured they would have money set aside to pay for them. Either way, whats done is done. Im sure tournament director has done what is necessary to take care of the guys.

I want to know what question(s) on the test caused them to fail. As far as the polygraph test (both) team members failed which raises suspicion. Polygraphs can be intimidating to take, but a 50/50 chance of passing? Where did you find that stat? I've taken numerous polygraph tests and have never failed one. Who are they, and who is talking [censored] about them?

This is one of the reasons why i dont fish as many tournaments anymore. Its very sad that someone would cheat for a hundred to two hundred dollars each week on a workingmans tournament. When everyone else is there to compete more for the fun and bragging rights for the week. (not saying i dont enjoy the money when you win to pay for your day of fishing) but come on... Why Cheat. Not sure how you can sleep at night and go each week and face the honest guys that you fish aganist every week and it not bother you. The only tournaments i fish anymore are workingmans and Texas Bass Couples (metro) with my wife and always LOVE it. Because I would never think anyone would cheat against me that i see every tournament and talk with. I hope this doesnt ruin the workingmans tournaments and i glad these two got caught and if this wasnt true i bet they would be on here defending there names and the reason why they failed. ps if anybody is looking for a great club to join it is Texas Bass Couples Metro and first tournament is at Squaw Creek on Jan. 19 and Joe pool is in May so come join...
