Today is my last day of work. From now on I fish when I want to and where I want to and as long as I want to.

If my wife lets me.

cheers

Don, I'll bet today's just the last day you work for someone else.......

I've read comments about the next kayak build, not to mention stake out poles for friends, among other things.

My Dad was 1 year older than I am when he retired (I'm 54). That's kinda scary to me...

Jerry, you can always have him scouting out new venues for tournaments! I'm sure he would hate that!

You think he will be shedding a tear or 2 as he walks out of the bldg. for the last time?

Good for you.
Beat you to it though. Retired in April. Good thing too because my wife has had hip surgery and I was the one who took care of her. Would have required hospice if I wasn't there for her.
Since I retired, I fish more, fly model sailplanes more and do more Church work. I am healthier and enjoy life a lot more.
Going to build another model Sailplane and I might even build another kayak someday.

RBR, you and Don should get together and build one of those custom, one-off foam board kayaks. Who knows? Don might start pedaling!
