I got Plantar Fasciitis this year from fishing with sandal type shoes. Terrible pain all the time. I limp everywhere I go now till my feet get loosened up. I will be going back to tennis shoes full time. I have been trying to figure out the best shoes to.

After 20+ years in army boots, plantars fascitis, and super flat feet Adidas trail shoes or under armor running shoes work for me. I really like the adidas trail shoe they grip everything.

I am loving these Nike Free 3.0 shoes though...

I wear em for daily wear, including fishing... They are super comfortable, but make sure you get the 3.0 as the other shoes (4.0, or 5.0) have a different tongue design... 5.0 is a traditional tongue, and a thick sole, 4.0's use a tongue that is sewn in on one side (the inside of the shoe) and has a medium sole

3.0's do not have a tongue, they are like a glove for your foot and slide right on... definitely the most comfortable shoe out there!! the way they flex and move with your foot is awesome. they have the thinnest sole (for that barefoot running craze), but they are cushiony and comfy... absolutely love mine!!

I still wear the same style of shell tops I was wearing in high school. Lol. Last time I needed a new pair I found out they were discontinuing them and bought 4 pairs.

I used to fish crocs, but if you wear them everyday they will dry your feet out. I have had all types of flip flops, skeletons, etc and I wear reefs (flip flops 360 days of the year. I love them

Crocs are too clunky to fish out of for me. Easy to roll an ankle in them too.

Agree, lots depends on foot type narrow vs wide :: high arch vs flat feet

Too much support/cushioning over a long period of time leads to weaker feet.

Overall, I like New Balance, Brooks, Saucony
