New Balance 990's. Super comfortable, durable, and they are made in the USA!

I went like 10 years wearing nothing but shell toe addidas... they are a classic... I am loving these Nike Free 3.0 shoes though... I wear em for daily wear, including fishing... They are super comfortable, but make sure you get the 3.0 as the other shoes (4.0, or 5.0) have a different tongue design... 5.0 is a traditional tongue, and a thick sole, 4.0's use a tongue that is sewn in on one side (the inside of the shoe) and has a medium sole 3.0's do not have a tongue, they are like a glove for your foot and slide right on... definitely the most comfortable shoe out there!! the way they flex and move with your foot is awesome. they have the thinnest sole (for that barefoot running craze), but they are cushiony and comfy... absolutely love mine!!

If you are in the DFW area, go to Run On Shoes and have them custom fit you in the best pair of shoes. Very knowledgeable and worth your time.

Zeko shoes feel like no shoes on your feet, just socks only. Wear them in the summer only, not (winter) cold.

I have a pair of Shimano's and they work well. http://www.tackledirect.com/shimano-evas...CFejm7AodDSIAnQthey offer more support than Crocks. Dry quicker than Zeko's ( I own Zeko's too ). Tennis/running shoes break down in the sole about 3-6 months, which is why your shins and feet hurt after they get broken in.

I usually wear flip flops or my asics running shoes and have a very negligible amount of foot fatigue. I recently fished the brazos and decided to wear my under armor valsetz boots. they are more like running shoes than boots and I was so impressed because at the end of the day I had zero fatigue.

Not high end but I fish in croc's. very easy on my arthritic feet! Amen brother. That huge cushion in the bottom of them let me fish all day without my feet throbbing at the end.
