Nope, but close. Had to make a detour to meet Willie to pick up goodies. We picked up 77 in Refugio and who do we bump into while getting gas? None other than the Arkansas Tuna Mafia guys! Talk about a chance meeting. Probably get together for dinner tonight.

Got my last knife in today! 9 in Dexter filet knife. Now have 2 serrated dexters, 9 in fillet dexter and 9 in flex bubba blade. Already had it when I asked y'all about it. It is one sharp [censored] knife. Will let everyone check it out. 11pm and starting to pack yikes !

The probably are sleeping now and moving to their daytime drop water holes. Hopefully the boat deck got a good beating from the Yellowfins last night.

Quick trip update. I think the YFT count was approx 64, it was an awesome trip! Most of the YTF were from the first night too. Spent Sat trolling around Perdido but not productive. Deep dropped for a couple big AJ's. lots of rainbow runners hang around the rig. We picked off more RR than I have ever seen on a trip. Some nice big dodo's (a big bull and a nice female) plus some chickens came Sat night. Around 11pm Sat, Kerry came tight to something big around 250'. The fight lasted close to an hour with nearly the whole boat watching. The capt handled the boat nicely to help the fight but it was not meant to be. The hook pulled after an epic battle. About 1 min later, several people saw a sword come along side so we are assuming that's what it was.

The capt and crew were top notch, and all the fishermen made this a great trip. As usual, we ate like kings on this trip. Now time for a long run home. Pictures to follow.
